With this program you will receive a very comfortable shell for a lot of applications related to working with sound files. Within the package there are two MP3 encoders: 'Blade Encoder' and 'LAME-16', both DOS applications which are usually controlled by the command line. With 'MP3Coder/VVS' you can easily gather the command parameters clicking radiobuttons and checkboxes in various Windows dialogs. Compressing WAV files to MP3 may save over 90% of disk space.
'MPX-Play' and 'DAC.EXE' are included in the ZIP file, too. These programs make it easy to copy tracks from audio CD and store them as WAV files.
Of course, it's all freeware !

Aside from the assigned programs and the built-in features you may easily create new entries in the "file" menu. So you can run your favorite CD writer software, an "ID3" tagger or even your word processor (or whatever you want) from MP3Coder's file menu instead if picking it out of the start menu or the program manager...

The program's surface provides various choices and selections and its operating is very easy. Of course, a free MP3 player is included.

You may change the program's surface to german, english and french language at your choice. Help files are included in german and english language.

Although MP3Coder was designed for Windows 3.1, it should work under higher Windows versions, too.

On the other hand, there's a lot of 32bit applications for sound work... some of them might even be better ... however, will they work faster ?? ;-))

Registration

Registration is free !

Some of MP3-Coder's functions are only available in the 'PRO' version. Getting access to these functions requires your registration. If you use the online registration form, I will send you your special key via e-mail and you will not have to pay for it.
Registering via snail mail is possible too, but a license fee (4.90 €) is required.

There are two different packages:

		At first the complete package, which contains all components and a comfortable installation program. Enclosed in this ZIP archive there are the complete program packages of the assigned applications, which are freeware or distributed under the General Public License of 'Free Software Foundation'. For copyright reasons it is necessary to give them along with MP3CODER.
		The second one is a service pack for all users, who have already got the complete package and don't want to download all GNU packages once again... The installation program is also enclosed in this ZIP and all other components needed for the program to run are as well, only the original ZIPs of the additional programs and of course their manuals are missing.
